Faking Pregnancy: Nigerian-Italian Couple’s Alleged Newborn Kidnapping
A Nigerian man, Moses Omogo Chidiebere, 43, and his Italian wife, Rosa Vespa, 51, have been arrested for allegedly abducting a newborn baby from the “Sacro Cuore” clinic in Cosenza, Italy.
Authorities report that Vespa had faked a pregnancy for nine months, even announcing the birth on social media. The couple then kidnapped a one-day-old infant from the clinic, claiming the child as their own. The newborn has since been safely returned to her family.
