Niger State Tragedy: Vigilantes Charged with Murder
In Niger State, Nigeria, three vigilante members have been arrested for the alleged murder of a 30-year-old man named Mohammadu Bello from Awala village in Rijau Local Government Area. The suspects are accused of culpable homicide in connection with Bello’s death.

In a separate case, they arrested Jamilu Saidu from Kumbashi District, Mariga Local Government Area, for allegedly killing a 30-year-old man named Iliyasu Aminu during a wedding ceremony. Saidu reportedly struck Aminu on the head with a machete during a fight between two villages.
