Kogi Authorities Arrest Infamous Motorcycle Snatcher: The Impact on Crime Rates

The Kogi State Vigilante Service has apprehended a notorious armed robber and motorcycle thief, Abdulraheem Muhammed, in Okene. Muhammed was arrested for his involvement in multiple motorcycle thefts in the area.

In a separate incident, the Kogi State Vigilante Group arrested 25-year-old Hassan Abdul, a notorious motorcycle thief, in Lokoja. Abdul, who had been on the security agents’ wanted list for months, was caught attempting to steal a motorcycle at the GSM Village in Lokoja.

He confessed to using a master key to steal various motorcycles, which he sold for ₦150,000 each to a buyer in Anyigba, Dekina Local Government Area. Abdul also revealed that his accomplice, known as Ogbe, had been arrested earlier and is currently in the Koton Karfe Correctional Centre.
