Desperate Plea: Man Begs US President as Wife Faces Deportation
In a recent incident in Miami, a man whose wife was detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents during a raid pleaded with President Donald Trump for assistance. The man, who wished to remain anonymous, described the situation as “despicable” and “very embarrassing,” expressing his distress over his wife’s detention.
The ICE operation, conducted between January 23 and January 26, 2025, resulted in 2,373 arrests, with nearly 1,000 occurring on January 26 alone. The raids targeted undocumented immigrants across South Florida, including Broward and Martin counties.
The detained woman, a Venezuelan national, was in the process of obtaining U.S. citizenship and had a court date scheduled. Her husband expressed shock at her arrest, stating that “everything was good” until the raid.
