Sowore’s Legal Hurdle: 24 Hours to Meet Bail Conditions, Passport Confiscated
On January 30, 2025, the Federal High Court in Abuja granted Omoyele Sowore, a human rights activist and former presidential candidate, bail set at ₦10 million. The court mandated that Sowore meet the bail conditions within 24 hours and ordered the seizure of his international passport.
