Alhaji Rilwan Yahaya Pate, the Sarkin Yakin Zazzau and a district head within the Zazzau Emirate Council of Kaduna State, tragically passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2025. He collapsed during an event in Zaria, which he was attending alongside the Emir of Zazzau, Mallam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli. Following his collapse, he was promptly taken to Gambo Sawaba General Hospital in Kofar Gayan, Zaria, where he was later pronounced dead.
