Mohbad’s Father Calls for Police Inquiry: Wife and Brother’s Involvement Sought
Joseph Aloba, the father of the late music star Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has called on the Nigeria Police to summon his late son’s brother, Adura Aloba, and wife, Omowunmi Cynthia Adebanjo, to provide insights into the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death.
In a statement, Joseph Aloba expressed concerns about his inability to communicate with Adura, who was reportedly present at the time of Mohbad’s passing. He alleged that efforts to reach Adura were obstructed, leading to suspicions about the events leading to his son’s death. He emphasized the importance of their testimonies in shedding light on the incident and urged the police to ensure their safety during the investigation.
This development follows a press conference organized by actor Yomi Fabiyi, where a video allegedly sent by Adura was played, further fueling suspicions about Mohbad’s demise. Mohbad’s mother, Abosede, also clashed with Fabiyi during the conference over allegations made against Adura.
