
Borno Violence: Two Dead, Four Injured by IEDs
On Tuesday, February 4, 2025, two individuals lost their lives, and four others sustained injuries due to Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) planted by Boko Haram terrorists. The incident occurred between Harang and Jibhuhwui villages in Hawul Local Government Area of Borno State, as the victims were enroute to a market in Adamawa State.
Boko Haram, officially known as Jama’atu Ahl as-Sunnah li-Da’awati wal-Jihad, is a Nigeria-based terrorist organization seeking to overthrow the Nigerian government and establish a regime based on Islamic law.
The group has been responsible for numerous attacks involving IEDs, leading to significant loss of life and property in the region.
