Adeboye: SeaKing's Release from Custody Explained

TikTok Star SeaKing Freed from Police Detention

Olumide Ogunsanwo, known on TikTok as SeaKing, has been released from police custody following his arrest over alleged cyberbullying of Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). His release was confirmed by human rights activist Omoyele Sowore, who facilitated the administrative bail process.

Pastor Adeboye had previously called for SeaKing’s release during a church service, stating that the TikToker was “fulfilling prophecy” and expressing that he had not personally requested any action against him.

The RCCG later clarified that while Pastor Adeboye advocated for SeaKing’s release, due process should still be followed in addressing the allegations. The church emphasized that the call for release did not imply an end to legal proceedings.
