Lagos University Student Dies in Hostel Accident
A 100-level student from the University of Lagos tragically died after falling from a hostel building. The incident occurred on February 11, 2025, at the Akintunde Ojo Hall. The student, identified as Chinedu Okafor, was studying Computer Science.
Eyewitnesses reported that he fell from the third floor of the hostel building. The university’s management has expressed condolences to the family and has initiated an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. Counseling services have been made available to students affected by the tragedy.
