Supermarket Scare: Cellphone Blows Up in Pocket
A Brazilian woman suffered second and third-degree burns after her Motorola Moto E32 cellphone exploded in her back pocket while she was shopping in a supermarket.
CCTV footage captured the incident, showing her walking calmly down an aisle before her pants suddenly burst into flames. She immediately attempted to remove the burning device from her pocket.
The woman was promptly taken to the hospital for treatment of her injuries. The cause of the phone’s explosion remains under investigation.
