Two-Year-Old Rescued from Abusive Kidnappers in Ondo
The Ondo State Security Network Agency, known as Amotekun Corps, has successfully rescued five kidnapped individuals, including a two-year-old child who had been severely beaten by her captors. The victims were abducted along the Ifon-Ipele-Owo highway and endured five days in captivity, during which they reportedly survived on only water.
The Amotekun Corps, under the leadership of Commander Chief Adetunji Adeleye, conducted a thorough search operation that led to the safe recovery of the victims. The two-year-old child was found traumatized due to the severe beatings inflicted by the kidnappers.
In addition to this rescue operation, the Amotekun Corps apprehended 14 suspects involved in various criminal activities, including kidnapping and rape. Among those arrested were three herders accused of gang-raping a 75-year-old grandmother in Ifira Akoko.
The victims have expressed their gratitude to the Amotekun Corps for their timely intervention and rescue. The security agency continues to work diligently to combat criminal activities and ensure the safety of residents in Ondo State
