Police Crackdown: Two Suspected Cultists Apprehended
In the early hours of Monday, February 10, 2025, operatives of the Lagos State Police Command’s Rapid Response Squad (RRS) arrested two suspected cultists in the Lekki area.
The suspects, identified as 21-year-old Okey Bright, also known as “B in Fine Boy,” and 22-year-old Daniel Prince, alias “Rugged Promotion,” were apprehended around 4:00 a.m. while returning from their confraternity’s annual conference at a hotel in Lekki.
The arrest was prompted by the suspicious behavior of Daniel Prince, who was carrying a cross bag. Upon searching the bag, officers discovered caps associated with the confraternity, leading to the immediate arrest of both individuals. Preliminary investigations revealed that Bright, a resident of Ikoyi, joined the confraternity in 2024 and is currently a university student. Prince, a hairstylist, is also a university student.
