Nigerian comedian and content creator Isaac Aloma, popularly known as Zicsaloma, recently underwent rhinoplasty (nose surgery) and has shared his transformative experience with his audience. In a video posted on his Instagram account, he documented the process of removing the surgical plaster, revealing his new look. Expressing his satisfaction, Zicsaloma stated, “I love my new look and I feel more confident.”
He further elaborated on his decision in a YouTube video, explaining that he had always been self-conscious about his flat nose, which had been a source of ridicule since childhood. He mentioned that his siblings often teased him about his nose, leading to long-standing insecurities. Zicsaloma clarified that his choice to undergo the procedure was primarily for aesthetic reasons, aiming to achieve a more defined facial profile.
The surgery was performed in Turkey as part of a collaboration with the medical facility, with Zicsaloma covering only his visa and flight expenses. He also underwent a slight eye lift during the procedure. Since unveiling his new appearance, he has received a mix of praise and criticism. Addressing his critics, Zicsaloma emphasized that his decision was personal and aimed at boosting his self-esteem.
