Ogun Hotel Mystery: Search Intensifies for Female Companion of Deceased Officer
The Ogun State Police Command has initiated a manhunt for an unidentified woman following the death of Inspector Haruna Mohammed. Inspector Mohammed, who served with the Ishashi Division of the Lagos State Police Command, was found deceased in a hotel room at Anthony Uzum Estate, Oyeyemi Akute, Ogun State. He had checked into the hotel with the woman around 1:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2025.
The hotel manager discovered his lifeless body at approximately 8:52 a.m., with the room door left unlocked and the woman missing. Earlier that morning, around 6:00 a.m., the woman had requested table water from the reception before disappearing. The police have classified the death as “unnatural” and are actively seeking the woman’s whereabouts.
