Antonio Villaraigosa's Divorce: Financial Details Uncovered

Former LA Mayor’s Divorce Financials Disclosed

Former Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa has finalized his divorce from his second wife, Patricia Govea, with the settlement revealing a meticulous division of assets. Villaraigosa, 72, retains ownership of their $3.4 million Beverly Hills residence, a 2024 Volvo XC60, his pension, and exclusive rights to his last name. Notably, he also secured their shared Netflix account, ensuring continued access to the streaming service.

Govea, on the other hand, receives a lump sum of $550,000, reimbursement of $200,000 in real estate fees, a 2016 Range Rover, select furniture, and two properties located in Mexico. As part of the agreement, she is required to revert to her maiden name and is prohibited from using “Villaraigosa” for any social, marketing, or business purposes.

This divorce marks Villaraigosa’s second; his first marriage ended in 2007 following a widely publicized affair. Despite personal challenges, he is reportedly considering another gubernatorial run in 2026, aiming to address current political issues in California.
