Chika Ike Denies Pregnancy Speculations with Senator Nwoko
Nollywood actress Chika Ike has publicly refuted rumors alleging that she is pregnant by Senator Ned Nwoko and plans to become his seventh wife. In a statement shared on her Instagram page, Ike expressed frustration over persistent media speculation about her personal life, emphasizing that such rumors are baseless. She stated, “Ned isn’t the father of my child… I’m not about to be anyone’s 7th wife! Polygamy isn’t for me.”
Senator Nwoko also addressed the allegations through an official statement, categorically denying any plans to marry Ike or being responsible for her pregnancy. The statement described the claims as “entirely baseless and a product of malicious speculation.”
These rumors intensified after Ike announced her pregnancy on social media, coinciding with actress Regina Daniels, Nwoko’s current wife, deactivating her Instagram account. However, Daniels has since returned to social media, and both Ike and Nwoko have dismissed the circulating speculations.
