“I Am Not a Criminal”: Portable Addresses Legal Troubles
Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has publicly addressed the recent declaration by the Ogun State Police Command, which has labeled him as wanted. The authorities allege that Portable led an assault on government officials performing their lawful duties.
In response, Portable took to social media, expressing his distress and denying any criminal behavior. He stated, “I didn’t kill anybody. If anything happens to me, there will be trouble.” He further challenged the authorities to provide evidence of the alleged assault, asserting that the accusations are false and intended to tarnish his image.
Portable also pleaded for understanding and support, revealing that he is currently undergoing treatment for what he describes as a “spiritual attack.” He emphasized his innocence, stating, “I’m not a criminal. I don’t look for trouble; people look for my wahala.”
The Ogun State Police Command has urged the public to assist in locating Portable, warning that anyone found harboring him will face legal consequences.
