Unveiling the Blood Tears of the Virgin Mary
In a recent development, Italian mystic Gisella Cardia is facing potential legal action after DNA analysis revealed that the blood on a Virgin Mary statue, which she claimed was weeping tears of blood, matched her own. Cardia, who had attracted numerous pilgrims to the Madonna di Trevignano statue since 2016, asserted that the statue not only wept blood but also conveyed messages to her.
However, the Roman Catholic Church declared her a fraud last year, and subsequent DNA testing confirmed the blood originated from Cardia herself. Additionally, allegations have surfaced that she established a foundation to collect donations under the pretense of building a center for sick children. Authorities are now considering charging her with fraud.
This incident underscores the importance of thorough investigation into purported supernatural phenomena. While many individuals seek spiritual solace in such occurrences, it’s crucial to approach them with a critical perspective to prevent potential exploitation.
