Grief in Abia: Sister and Twins Killed by Relative
In a tragic incident in Abia State, Nigeria, a 26-year-old man identified as James Austin, also known as Igwubuike, allegedly murdered his sister, Chinonso Nwabali James, and her twin babies. The event occurred in the early hours of February 18, 2025, in Umuokoro Umuori Village, Ukwa West Local Government Area.
Eyewitness Azuka Ubani reported seeing Austin carrying his sister’s corpse around 3 a.m., which prompted him to raise an alarm. Upon further investigation, the lifeless bodies of the twin infants were discovered buried in shallow graves within the compound. Community members apprehended Austin and handed him over to the authorities. It’s worth noting that reports suggest Austin may have been mentally unstable.
