Husband Arrested in Shocking Murder-for-Hire Case
On January 10, 2025, Yesenia “Jessica” Torres, a prominent businesswoman from San Bernardino, California, was fatally shot in a parking lot in what authorities now describe as a murder-for-hire plot orchestrated by her estranged husband, Sergio Reveles.
The couple was undergoing a contentious divorce involving significant shared assets. Surveillance footage captured the assailant, Gerardo Llamas-Torres, ambushing Torres as she entered her vehicle. Initially perceived as a robbery, further investigation revealed a premeditated scheme involving four additional individuals hired by Reveles.
All five suspects have been arrested and face charges including first-degree murder, robbery, and conspiracy. They are scheduled for a court appearance on March 14, 2025.
