Kenyan environmentalist Arap Kirui, a father of four from Narok, has publicly declared himself a single father following the discovery of his wife’s alleged infidelity. Kirui installed CCTV cameras in his home due to suspicions about his wife’s behavior, and the footage reportedly confirmed his fears. In a heartfelt Facebook post, he expressed deep regret over the situation, emphasizing the sacrifices he made for his family’s well-being, including timely payment of school fees and provision of household necessities.
Despite his efforts, he lamented that his contributions were insufficient to maintain family harmony. Kirui has urged his children to adapt to the new circumstances, stating, “I beg my children to cooperate with the unplanned situation and accept me as the only parent since I can’t stand this anymore.” He also reassured stakeholders and clients that his business operations, including clean water provision, transportation, and tree nursery projects, will continue uninterrupted.
