Katsina Town Faces Banditry: Father and Son Abducted
In the early hours of today, heavily armed bandits abducted a father and his son in Malumfashi Local Government Area of Katsina State. The assailants stormed their residence, seizing both victims before fleeing to an undisclosed location. This incident underscores the ongoing security challenges in the region.
This abduction is part of a troubling pattern of attacks in Katsina State. Just four weeks ago, suspected bandits attacked the residence of the Malumfashi Local Government Chairperson, killing his security aide and kidnapping his four-year-old son.
Additionally, six months prior, bandits murdered a 31-year-old man in Magamar-Jibia town, setting his body and home ablaze, and abducting his wife and son.
