Criminal Inquiry Launched Against Tate Brothers in Florida
Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier has initiated a criminal investigation into Andrew and Tristan Tate, known for their controversial online presence and facing human trafficking charges in Romania. Upon their recent arrival in Florida, Uthmeier’s office issued subpoenas and search warrants as part of the active investigation.
Governor Ron DeSantis has publicly stated that individuals involved in human trafficking or violence against women are not welcome in Florida, emphasizing the state’s commitment to holding such individuals accountable.
The Tate brothers, dual U.S.-British citizens, were arrested in Romania in late 2022 on charges including human trafficking, rape, and forming a criminal organization. They have denied all allegations. Their travel restrictions were recently lifted, permitting their return to the U.S.
Andrew Tate has criticized Governor DeSantis’s remarks, asserting his innocence and right to be in the U.S.
