Anambra Incident: Truck and Shuttle Bus Crash
A tragic accident occurred on Tuesday evening, March 4, 2025, at the Idemili Junction near Oba in Anambra State, Nigeria. A truck carrying a 40-foot container reportedly experienced brake failure while descending a slope, causing the driver to lose control.
The out-of-control truck collided with a shuttle bus, several tricycles, and pedestrians, resulting in multiple fatalities and injuries.
Eyewitnesses described scenes of chaos, with victims trapped under the container and debris scattered around. Rescue operations were promptly initiated by officials from the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and the Nigeria Police Force.
