Borno Forces Thwart Boko Haram Assault on Police Facility
In the early hours of Wednesday, March 5, 2025, suspected Boko Haram terrorists launched an attack on the Malari Police Station in Borno State.
The assailants targeted an Armored Personnel Carrier and attempted to infiltrate the facility around 1:00 a.m.
A combined team of police officers and soldiers swiftly responded, engaging the insurgents and successfully repelling the attack.
The security forces’ prompt action prevented any casualties and safeguarded the station from potential damage. The assailants retreated, and no arrests have been reported.
