Mohbad’s Widow Speaks Out Against Alleged Threats
Omowunmi Aloba, the widow of the late Nigerian singer Mohbad, has publicly accused her father-in-law’s “adopted” brother, Mr. Ifamuyiwa, of threatening her and her son, Liam. In a recent social media post, Wunmi shared concerns over her family’s safety, alleging that Mr. Ifamuyiwa has been intimidating them.
Additionally, Wunmi has expressed distress over her father-in-law’s spokesperson, Azeez Olurin (also known as Gurexy), and their lawyer, Barrister Odumosu. She claims they have been collaborating to complicate her situation, including coaching and bailing out suspects linked to her husband’s death, thereby exacerbating her ordeal.
The widow has also addressed allegations regarding the paternity of her son, Liam. She refutes claims that her father-in-law is demanding a DNA test due to suspicions about her fidelity during her marriage to Mohbad. Wunmi has publicly stated her willingness to undergo a DNA test to confirm Liam’s paternity, emphasizing her readiness since 2023.
