Seven Abducted in Kaduna, Including Bishop Kukah’s Kin
On the night of March 6, 2025, gunmen abducted seven individuals, including a relative of Bishop Matthew Hassan Kukah, in Anchuna village, Ikulu Chiefdom, Zangon Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The victims comprise one male, identified as Ishaya Kukah, and six women and children.
This incident adds to a series of abductions in the region. Notably, in January 2018, the Agwom Akulu, HRH Yohanna Sidi Kukah, a younger brother of Bishop Kukah, was kidnapped from his residence in Anchuna.He was released after ten days in captivity.
