Drug Kingpins Sentenced to 95 Years in Prison

Major Drug Traffickers Face 95-Year Sentences

Four prominent drug traffickers—Ogbuji Christian Ifeanyi, Iloduba Augustine Chinonye, Shuaibu Nuhu Isa (also known as Don), and Zidon Zurga—have been convicted and collectively sentenced to 95 years in prison by courts in Lagos and Yola, Adamawa State.

Their offenses involved trafficking cocaine and skunk valued at over ₦4.6 billion.

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) played a pivotal role in their apprehension. Ogbuji was intercepted at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, while the others were arrested in different locations.

In addition to their prison sentences, the convicts have forfeited various assets, including luxury vehicles and other properties, to the government.
