NAF’s Response to IKEDC Staff Assault Incident
The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has pledged to investigate and sanction personnel involved in the recent assault on Ikeja Electric (IKEDC) staff.
The incident occurred following the disconnection of power supply to the Sam Ethnan Air Force Base in Ikeja due to unpaid bills.
Armed NAF officers allegedly invaded IKEDC offices, assaulting staff and vandalizing property. Human rights activist Omoyele Sowore condemned the attack and called for immediate disciplinary action.
The NAF has assured the public that those responsible will face appropriate sanctions.
