Meghan Markle's Father Critiques Her Netflix Endeavor

A Father’s Disappointment: Meghan Markle’s Show Under Fire

Thomas Markle has publicly criticized his daughter Meghan Markle’s Netflix cooking show, With Love, Meghan, labeling her performance as “inauthentic” and accusing her of using “pre-planned” facial expressions. He remarked, “Everything she says is pre-planned and rehearsed. It makes me laugh because I know all her looks and expressions.”

He further commented, “She’s trying so hard to be perfect that she tenses up every time the camera is on her.”

In response to the criticism, Meghan shared positive feedback from fans on her Instagram stories, expressing appreciation for their support and showcasing their culinary recreations inspired by her show.

The series has also faced scrutiny from other family members. Meghan’s half-brother, Thomas Markle Jr., dismissed her childhood claims as “malarkey,” asserting that she had a comfortable upbringing.

Additionally, Meghan’s decision to use “Sussex” as her surname in the series has sparked debate among royal circles. Lord Ivar Mountbatten, a relative of the royal family, noted that “Sussex” is a title, not a family name, suggesting that the correct surname should be Mountbatten-Windsor.

Despite mixed reviews, Netflix has announced a second season of With Love, Meghan, citing the show’s ability to generate discussions and maintain viewer interest.
