Lagos Club Scene Mourns DJ Sh0t’s Passing
On Saturday, March 8, 2025, at approximately 9:30 p.m., a tragic incident occurred at Gozzard Hotel on Community Road, Abule Ado, Satellite Town, Lagos, where a disc jockey (DJ) named Victor Dickson was fatally shot while performing on stage.
According to reports, a group of armed individuals, suspected to be cultists, stormed the hotel, opened fire on Dickson, and inflicted machete wounds before fleeing the scene.
The Lagos State Police Command responded promptly to the distress call. Their investigation led to the arrest of 35-year-old Christian Chukwudi, also known as “Marshall General,” identified as a notorious armed robber and cultist who has been terrorizing the area. A locally made short gun with one live cartridge was recovered from him.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the attack was linked to an ongoing cult rivalry in the area. The police are intensifying efforts to apprehend other members of the gang involved in this heinous act.
The victim, Victor Dickson, was rushed to the hospital but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. His remains have been deposited at the Infectious Diseases Hospital (IDH) mortuary in Yaba for autopsy.
The Lagos State Police Command assures the public that a thorough investigation is ongoing to bring all perpetrators to justice and curb the menace of cult-related violence in the state.
