West Virginia Coach Bans TikTok Dance Videos
West Virginia University’s head football coach, Rich Rodriguez, has prohibited his players from posting videos of themselves dancing on TikTok. Rodriguez, 61, expressed concerns that such content undermines the “hard edge” image he desires for his team.
He stated, “We try to have a hard edge or whatever, and you’re in there in your tights dancing on TikTok ain’t quite the image of our program that I want.”
While he acknowledges that players will use TikTok, Rodriguez emphasizes focusing on football rather than social media fame. He remarked, “How about let’s win the football game and not worry about winning the TikTok?”
