3-Year-Old Boy’s Quick Action Saves Great-Grandma’s Life

Three-year-old Bridger Peabody from Strasburg, Colorado, demonstrated remarkable bravery by rescuing his great-grandmother, Sharon Lewis, after she suffered a severe fall.

The incident occurred in February 2025 when Lewis, affectionately known as “GiGi,” tripped on a concrete step while entering her home, resulting in a serious head injury.

Despite being scared of the dark, Bridger retrieved Lewis’ phone from her car, allowing her to call for help after she hit her head on a cement step. Lewis, who sustained a serious concussion and needed 22 staples, refers to Bridger as her hero.

Lewis was subsequently treated for a concussion and required 22 staples for her head injury. She praises Bridger as her hero, though he modestly identifies simply as himself.
