This accusation stems from TSMC’s recent announcement of a $100 billion investment in U.S. semiconductor manufacturing facilities, including three chip fabrication plants and two packaging facilities in Arizona.
The investment was unveiled during a White House ceremony presided over by President Trump, raising concerns in Taiwan about the potential relocation of its critical semiconductor industry.
