Kanye West’s New Song Sparks Conflict with Kim Kardashian

Kanye West, now known as Ye, has released a new song titled “LONELY ROADS STILL GO TO SUNSHINE,” featuring his 11-year-old daughter North West, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Diddy’s son Christian “King” Combs, and singer Jasmine Williams.

The track, shared on Ye’s X (formerly Twitter) account on March 15, 2025, begins with a voice resembling Diddy’s, expressing gratitude to Ye for his support during challenging times. North contributes a brief rap, delivering the line, “When you see me shining, then you see the light,” while Christian adds his own verse.

The song’s release has ignited a dispute between Ye and his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian. Reports indicate that Kardashian attempted to prevent the track’s release, citing concerns over North’s involvement and the use of her name.

She reportedly sent cease-and-desist letters and sought an emergency hearing to block the song, asserting legal control over their daughter’s name. Despite these efforts, Ye proceeded with the release.

In a series of now-deleted posts, Ye shared screenshots of a heated text exchange with Kardashian, during which he allegedly threatened to “go to war” over the matter. Kardashian expressed her intent to protect North from association with the track, especially given Diddy’s current legal issues, including charges related to sex trafficking.
