Steve Bannon: Trump’s 2028 Presidential Bid Efforts

Trump’s 2028 Comeback: Bannon Discusses Plans

Steve Bannon, former White House chief strategist under President Donald Trump, recently expressed intentions to explore avenues for Trump to seek a third presidential term in 2028, despite the constitutional limitations set by the 22nd Amendment, which restricts presidents to two terms. In an interview on NewsNation’s “CUOMO,” Bannon stated, “We’re working on it. I think we’ll have a couple of alternatives. We’ll see what the definition of term limit is.”

Bannon’s remarks have sparked significant debate, with critics highlighting the constitutional constraints that prohibit a third term. Political commentator Stephen A. Smith described Bannon’s suggestion as “incredibly alarming,” questioning the commitment to constitutional principles among Trump’s supporters.

This development has also led to speculation about Bannon’s own political ambitions. In a recent interview with Politico, Bannon did not dismiss the possibility of a 2028 presidential run, stating, “I don’t think like a politician. All I do is back President Trump and try to move the populist national agenda and the America First agenda.”
