In recent days, the Jato Aka community in Kwande Local Government Area of Benue State has experienced a series of violent attacks attributed to suspected armed herdsmen. These incidents have resulted in the tragic deaths of two soldiers and three civilians, with several others sustaining injuries.

The attacks have led to widespread fear and displacement among residents. Many families have abandoned their homes, seeking safety in neighboring areas. Eyewitness accounts describe the assailants as heavily armed, targeting both lives and property.
