Rapper Yella Beexy Charged in Mo3 Murder Case
Dallas rapper Yella Beezy, born Markies Conway, has been arrested and charged with capital murder for allegedly orchestrating the 2020 killing of fellow rapper Mo3, whose real name was Melvin Noble.
According to court documents, Conway is accused of hiring Kewon Dontrell White to carry out the fatal shooting on November 11, 2020, on Interstate 35 in Dallas.
On that day, Noble was driving when a masked gunman, identified as White, approached his vehicle. Noble attempted to flee on foot but was pursued and shot multiple times in the back, leading to his death.
White was previously arrested and is currently serving a nine-year sentence on firearm charges related to the case. Conway was formally indicted by a Dallas County grand jury and is being held in the Dallas County Jail pending his bond hearing.
Conway’s arrest adds to his history of legal issues, including previous arrests on firearm and drug charges, as well as a past accusation of sexual assault, which was later dismissed.
