
£5 Million Fraud Charges Against Private School Pioneer
Yasmin Anjum Sarwar, 43, from Cyncoed, Cardiff, has been charged with multiple theft and fraud offenses related to her tenure at Cardiff Sixth Form College, a prestigious private institution known for its top A-level results.
Her husband, Nadeem Sarwar, 48, from Pentwyn, Cardiff, and a third individual, have also been charged in connection with the alleged £5 million fraud, which is said to have occurred between 2012 and 2016.
The Cardiff Sixth Form College has consistently been recognized for its academic excellence, making these allegations particularly significant within the educational community. The accused are expected to appear in court later this month.
