Tragic Stabbing Incident in Niger State: 25-Year-Old Dies
On Sunday evening, March 23, 2025, a tragic incident occurred in the Kwangila area of Minna, Niger State, where a man identified as Mubarak, suspected to be mentally unstable, fatally stabbed 25-year-old Shamseen Danshehu during a physical altercation.
Witnesses reported that Mubarak, known locally for scavenging through refuse, engaged Danshehu in a confrontation, during which he allegedly stabbed him in the chest. The victim was promptly taken to Minna General Hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival. The Niger State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of the suspect and is conducting further investigations into the incident.
