Nasarawa Road Crash Claims Lives of Four Armed Robbers

​On March 25, 2025, four suspected armed robbers died in a road crash while fleeing from a crime scene in Keffi, Nasarawa State. The incident occurred after the suspects allegedly robbed a residence behind the Keffi Township Stadium and stole a Toyota Camry at gunpoint.

Upon receiving a distress call around 3:00 a.m., the Nasarawa State Police Command initiated a pursuit of the fleeing suspects. The suspects attempted to escape along the Keffi-Abuja Expressway but were involved in a fatal accident at Bola Junction.

Police operatives from the Goshen City Division responded promptly, transporting the five occupants of the stolen vehicle to Johepz Medical Centre in Kuchikau. Unfortunately, four were pronounced dead, while the fifth suspect, identified as 25-year-old Hussaini Mohammed from Uke, is receiving medical treatment under police supervision.

Recovered items from the suspects include assorted charms, two long knives, screwdrivers, several wristwatches, twelve mobile phones of different brands, and an Access Bank ATM card belonging to one Lydia Olabode Kemi. The Nasarawa State Police Command has urged the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the nearest police station.
