Man Wanted in Connection with Ex-Wife’s Tragic Death
Authorities in Eldama Ravine, Baringo County, are investigating the tragic murder of a 32-year-old woman, allegedly by her ex-husband, identified as Alex Kimeli Ng’elel. The incident occurred on the night of March 24, 2025, outside the woman’s current boyfriend’s rented residence.
Witnesses reported that she was last seen heading towards her boyfriend’s house shortly after 8:00 PM; her lifeless body was discovered around 9:00 PM with deep head wounds.
The local Saos area Chief, Judith Chebon, reported the incident, prompting detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) in Koibatek to initiate a manhunt for Ng’elel, who has since gone into hiding.
This case has intensified concerns over the rising incidents of femicide in Kenya, with reports indicating that 97 women have been killed in the past three months.
Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding Ng’elel’s whereabouts to come forward to aid in the investigation and ensure justice for the victim.
