Wife Shoots Husband Days After Facebook Complaint
Danielle Baxter, a 39-year-old mother of three from Philadelphia, has been charged with the murder of her husband, Jordan Baxter, 38. His body was discovered on March 19, 2025, lying on a plastic sheet between two parked cars outside their home, with a gunshot wound to the back of his head and a firearm placed on his chest. Blood evidence was also found inside their residence.
Just days before the incident, on March 14, Danielle posted a message on Facebook expressing concerns about other women allegedly undermining her marriage: “These females out here be plotting on your marriage and waiting for your downfall so they can come right on in and these men let them.”
Danielle was arrested on March 20 and faces multiple charges, including murder and abuse of a corpse. She is currently in custody, with a court appearance scheduled for April 7.
Jordan Baxter was employed as a Regional Rail engineer for SEPTA. A GoFundMe campaign has been established to support his children’s future and cover funeral expenses.
