Keonjhar, India: Pramila Parida was arrested for allegedly operating a fake recruitment racket since 2020, defrauding numerous aspirants of approximately Rs 1 crore by promising them jobs in the health department.
Kenya: Maria Wangare Kamunge, alias Rish Kamunge, was arraigned for her involvement in a job scam targeting Kenyans seeking employment in Mauritius. Victims reported paying between Sh200,000 and Sh400,000 for job placements, only to discover that the promised opportunities were nonexistent.
