King Charles Hospitalized Due to Cancer Treatment Side Effects

Health Update: King Charles Admitted for Cancer Treatment Issues

King Charles III, aged 76, was briefly hospitalized on Thursday after experiencing temporary side effects from his ongoing cancer treatment. Following a scheduled medical session in the morning, he required a short period of observation at The London Clinic. Subsequently, he returned to his residence at Clarence House, where he continues to recuperate.

As a precautionary measure, Buckingham Palace has postponed the King’s engagements for Thursday afternoon and Friday, following medical advice. The King expressed his apologies to those affected by the schedule changes.

King Charles was diagnosed with cancer in February 2024, discovered during treatment for an enlarged prostate. Despite this diagnosis, he has maintained a schedule of public duties and international visits. Palace sources describe this recent hospitalization as a minor setback, emphasizing that his overall recovery remains positive.
