Imo Governor Urged to Assist in Cubana Chiefpriest DNA Case
Hellen Mutimu, a Kenyan woman who claims that Nigerian socialite Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chiefpriest, is the father of her son, has publicly appealed to Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma to intervene and persuade Okechukwu to undergo a DNA test. In an emotional video, Mutimu expressed her frustration over Okechukwu’s alleged refusal to acknowledge paternity and emphasized her desire to establish the truth for the well-being of her child.
Mutimu alleges that she met Okechukwu at a friend’s wedding in Lagos in April 2022, leading to a brief relationship that resulted in her pregnancy. She claims that Okechukwu initially provided some financial support but later ceased communication and blocked her on social media. Despite her repeated requests for a paternity test, she asserts that Okechukwu has been unresponsive.
In response, Okechukwu has publicly denied any involvement with Mutimu, stating that he has never met her and is not the father of her child. He has expressed willingness to undergo a DNA test but insists that Mutimu should bring the child to Nigeria for the procedure. Okechukwu has also accused Mutimu of attempting to blackmail him and disrupt his marriage.
