Bobrisky's N35m ATM Smuggling Scheme in Kirikiri

Kirikiri Baale Reveals Bobrisky’s N35m ATM Secret

Recent reports have surfaced alleging that Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, managed to smuggle eight Automated Teller Machine (ATM) cards into the Kirikiri correctional facility. These cards were purportedly used to withdraw approximately ₦35 million through Point of Sale (POS) operators in the Kirikiri community.

This substantial sum was allegedly utilized to secure preferential treatment, including accommodation in an apartment outside the prison premises.

The Baale of Kirikiri Town, Chief Babalola Shabi, also known as “Baale No-Nonsense,” brought these allegations to light during a recent town hall meeting organized by the Lagos State Police Command. He claimed that certain correctional officers collaborated with Bobrisky in this scheme, facilitating the unauthorized withdrawals and arrangements.

Chief Shabi stated, “Before the truth came out, everyone believed he was in Kirikiri serving his time. But the reality is that Bobrisky was living comfortably outside the prison walls, thanks to a criminal collaboration involving some officials.”

To address this issue, Chief Shabi reported that he summoned all local POS operators to his palace, leading to the involvement of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). He remarked, “I personally called in the EFCC after I summoned the POS operators to my palace. From there, they were able to trace the transactions and decode the money trail.”

In response to these revelations, the property where Bobrisky was allegedly accommodated has been identified and demolished. Furthermore, the correctional officers implicated in the scheme have been suspended pending further investigation.
