Kaduna School Tragedy: Mother Seeks Justice for Her Child
The mother of 16-year-old Ahmed Musa, a student at Government Technical College Malali in Kaduna State, is fervently seeking justice following her son’s tragic death. Ahmed was found deceased on February 16, 2025, within the school premises, with his hands and legs bound.
Expressing profound grief and frustration, she has accused the Kaduna State government and the Nigerian police of neglecting the case and attempting to obstruct justice. She stated, “I want the public to know that no matter what, I…won’t rest until I get justice.”
In response to the perceived inaction, she has threatened to organize statewide protests, collaborating with various women’s organizations to amplify her call for accountability. Additionally, she plans to seek intervention from human rights groups, including Amnesty International, to ensure the case receives the attention it warrants.
The legal proceedings have seen multiple adjournments, with the latest hearing postponed to May 27, 2025. This delay has further exacerbated the family’s distress, intensifying their demand for a thorough and expedited investigation into Ahmed’s untimely death.
