Yobe Authorities Nab Infamous Kidnappers
The Yobe State Police Command has achieved a significant breakthrough in combating crime with the arrest of two notorious kidnapping suspects, Babaro Baushe and Umaru Dau’a.
The suspects, aged 40 and 25 respectively, hail from Askuwari Village in Tarmuwa Local Government Area.
On April 9, 2025, at approximately 5:00 AM, operatives from the Dapchi Divisional Police Headquarters apprehended the duo, who are believed to be members of a gang specializing in kidnapping for ransom in the Dapchi and Tarmuwa regions.
The suspects have been linked to several criminal activities, including a fatal attack on Badegana Village on November 21, 2024.
